I love basil, the colour and the texture of the leaves and that wonderful smell when you break off a piece to use in a culinary delight. I have given into the changing of the season now and have embraced soup once again. This is home made by me and garnished with basil. The picture is a little study of a lemon and basil in watercolour. Have a happy week x
