Summer Lavender

Hello dear readers today I decided to do some painting.  The plan is to see how this picture turns out and then make some prints for cards or a series of cottage garden summer flowers in watercolours.  I set off into the garden to look for a likely candidate for todays project.  I found some pretty Lavender so evocative of long summer days and all things cottage.  The bees adore it,  I picked a little bunch and tied it with soft green organza ribbon and then arranged in a cute vase to paint and enjoy x

I just love lavender - your bunch looks so pretty tied with the pale green ribbon.Hope you enjoy the painting, sounds a lovely idea.
Just got back from two weeks of hot weather in Devon to find my lavender in full bloom - smells lovely!
