"Sew" magazine has a free gift on it ( Nov issue ) it is a kit to make an old fashioned peg decoration.  I have made mine into a ballerina and added a few extras -  well a girl has got to have some jewels ! 

I made this decorative rag doll ballerina some time ago but I still think she is sweet.

This little fellow came from Accessorize in Bluewater.  Yes I should know better but he is rather cute.



On a trip to John Lewis I just had to snap these trees in the car park  Although it was a misty evening the colours are fabulous pinks and oranges quite stunning.

Dumpling stew a real winter warmer.   I got the idea of stirring in spinach leaves from a lakeland recipe.  It's a good way of adding greens to a one pot recipe and just right for the change in the weather.    I will be looking out my gloves later.
